I have just joined this group. My garden in Spain goes from lush and in the spring to baking hot and brown in the summer so we aim to create a oasis for the summer months. Since flowers are impossible in the garden in the summer we keep a lot in pots and have them on the porch.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.The pond is a source of great pleasure. We have frogs and salamanders but no fish as we get snakes (harmless) that eat them. We also get wonderful dragon and damselflies. When the waterlilies come out I'll post another picture. It's nice to sit and look at the water, just for a bit of peace and contemplation.

I hate the heat! I try to flee to England for the summer but this year it could be difficult because of family problems.
