I'd rather eat a deer than a factory farmed animal. At least they got to grow up in the wild.

To me, they have far more aesthetic value than food value.

At least the deer presumably lead a decent deer life before he became dinner, but the factory operation is the main scourge.

Around here you'd get mostly recipes, although most include cutting it about half with pork to give it flavour. Ironically those who love deer meat really don't in most cases. It's so lean that , comparitively, it has no flavour for most, requiring that it be cut with fat. Go figure
