@phxbillcee And the whole entitlement society we have created with the PC bullshit.
@zorialoki I won't get into a long thing here, but,...(LOL) while I think healthy competition is needed to stimulate us, I, being a child of the '60's do think that co-operative games/excercises are a good idea, too. Letting kids know, especially in a loss, that they tried hard & did a good job is important, but to give everyone a 'medal', just for participation is ridiculous. I'll leave it at that.
@phxbillcee I can remember being on bowling teams that gave trophies to losing teams decades ago, so it is nothing new
@zorialoki Isn't that what a second place trophy is?
@Eirteacher I think we were fourth or less. We really sucked, but had a lot of fun
