Your beliefs are fine, I just don’t want them in my face. So no praying, no Bible quoting/reading, no Xtian symbols. Don’t throw it in my face.
While I was engaged Petunia turned to one of her favorite uncles, a missionary, and asked him to marry us. He refused. He said he couldn't do it because I had been divorced.
"But" explained Petunia, "She's dead." She had copies of the divorce as well as her death certificate. Petunia had made a special trip to a court house four states away to get the documents.
Didn't matter to him. Instead we got married by a cardinal . An hour before the marriage, he advised me it wasn't too late leave her at the altar.
