I read an article somewhere about how swear words have changed & are changing. Some are so ubiquitous that its power has diminished. Some words often heard in the 1950s are no longer tolerated.

Just think about every syllable of what you say and decide whether it will help you talk to that person again? Cuss words say more about you than the truth about your points.

I think it more than I say it. Not certain exactly why that is. I guess I have a reputation because I find others often apologies when they swear around me. It doesn't bother me when they do and I often say, "It's OK, I know what that word means."
