Although as long as the US military carries half the world's war budget rather than 5% war budget accordingly to its population. The greatest threat will be totalitarian takeover by its Government.
Force US military to drop it's invading and offensive military complex and then the US Citizens will dramatically reduce their fire arms.
Base life on good sense, not emotional mass hysteria.
