Well I now see, that after our governments mishandling of and lying about just about everything, since the pandemic began. The MPs have now voted to let themselves go back and play in the nursery again. So that instead of one D. Cummings setting a terrible example to the country of, none social distancing and unneeded journeys, we will now have six hundred, all playing their medieval fantasy game of happy burgomasters, which should have been abolished in the last century anyway.

Let us hope that we don't all get the black death, to make the whole silly medieval game seem like the Monty Pythons holy grail. Though I see that one of 'them' has already got the current plague. Silly ass. What did Napoleon say about the British. “Lions led by donkeys.”

Perhaps the loss of workers on the Palace of Westminster will result in it finally falling down and staying down. Then we could have government rebuilt in a more central position, say Birmingham or Manchester. Here's hoping....

Do you really believe that a UK government could ever do anything half way sane. LOL

@Fernapple No. But they certainly excel at half-measures.

Apparently Alok Sharma has tested negative for the virus so Boris will not have to self isolate for 14 days. A pity as it would certainly be beneficial to the country.

I see a common play at work. Politicians have reached a point where they feel useless (and they have become so). Too many competing needs and wants to deal with so just go for the gold (money). The demand versus the supply side of resources and how an imbalance causes total dysfunction should be sociology 101. Too bad it is not so we are left to deal with the consequences in real time.

Boris was feeling like a sacrificial lamb at PMs questions with empty benches behind him...he needs his braying supporters behind him to bolster his bluster!

Obviously he did not get the message when he caught the virus. Too bad he survived. This could have been a lesson for other such phony and criminal leaders.

Posted by webspider555I’m beginning to wonder whether our government is just incompetent or are all these things happening just to get us in a rage arguing amongst ourselves.
