@Lilac-JadeCanada My aunt Sheila was born in Canada. Her Dad was in the Canadian Air Force in England during the war. He was the last person to bail from a Halifax airplane that was hit during a sortie over Nazi territory. When he tried to jump out, his foot got stuck in the trapdoor and he hung upside down for quite some time. Luckily he was able to get his foot free before the plane crashed.
