Well I was once a top architectural consulting engineer. My field was not structural but I had to be able to understand the architect, the Structural and Electrical Consulting engineers. We worked as a team. We all knew quite a lot about the other's expertise. One thing has always been certain in my mind and that is Building 7 fell down because of controlled demolition. The way that the twin towers fell considering that they were not hit squarely, nor all around dictates controlled demolition. All three buildings had been set up with explosives before 9/11. It was assumed that the plane that crashed in Pennsilvania would be hitting Building 7. But it didn't. There wass nothing that happened to 7 that could have caused it to collapse.
The only real quiestion is who set the explosives and who detonated them.

I remember thinking the same thing on the day it happened. The buildings looked more "brought down" than fallen down. Then I decided that sounded too conspiracy theory motivated to be the case. Just another of those things that I filed away in my mind under "Beats Me."

Bush-Linked Company Handled Security for the WTC, Dulles and United
George W. Bush's brother was on the board of directors of a company providing electronic security for the World Trade Center, Dulles International Airport and United Airlines, according to public records. The company was backed by an investment firm, the Kuwait-American Corp., also linked for years to the Bush family.
The security company, formerly named Securacom and now named Stratesec, is in Sterling, Va.. Its CEO, Barry McDaniel, said the company had a "completion contract" to handle some of the security at the World Trade Center "up to the day the buildings fell down."

I also remember reading somewhere that there was supposedly a security shutdown of the WTC buildings like a week or two before the attacks where all their electronics were down and people were doing work on the buildings. I mean none of this can be connected to definitely prove anything, but it makes you wonder. I would have to go down a rabbit hole on Google to see if I can find the article(s). Maybe I'll do it tomorrow.
@Piece2YourPuzzle I heard a story about a private company coming into the buildings which were somehow other wise unoccupied> I believe that they were in there for two days a week or two before 9/11.
One thing is for certain and that is that the buildings fell into themselves. The only time this ever happens is under controlled demolition.
