If you knew Chris Hedges you wouldn't make such an assumption. I don't remember reading any such claim in the article, even after another quick read. One line that should have given you pause on that statement>>"The elites, Republican and Democrat, belong to the same club. We are not in it." But if I missed something, please direct me to that quote. The narrative of the article might help you with keeping up with its intended purpose. If you actually read it? Seems you didn't. Being it's agenda is geared more towards understanding that this blue wave was merely another managed perception for false change that will not come from this new class of candidates if elected. Why about half our population don't vote. How friendly fascism has worked its way into our country. And how our media is more a propaganda tool against us today. I'm fairly certain that at no place within the article is there an assumption that the GOP is corruption free. Or would Hedges or myself ever make such an idiotic claim when we both share an agenda to inform the people of our country that both parties serve the same people. And we aren't those people.
