It makes me wonder what the ruling class do for their food. We know from reports they all tend to know or know of each other in a vast degree. The video I posted a while back of Abby Martin with Peter Phillips goes into that a little. How well they know each other that is. Who Really Rules The World?
So do they do a vast majority of their food from local farming? Rely on their wealth to keep themselves healthier than us by some means? Of course they are able to afford the best healthcare. But there's only so far that can get you if you're consuming the same foods as the rest of the population?
@William_Mary I think they can just eat healthier foods because they can afford it more even if they just buy at their local whole foods or local organically farmed foods store. Most people in a big city don't have locally farmed food from which to choose. When there is nothing but concrete and buildings, there isn't much room to grow locally. We have been conditioned to not grow anything in the back yard or have the time to do it. All the advertising that most Americans are bombarded with makes them feel confident that the products we eat are healthy because they're passed by the FDA. A government agency would never lie to us or promote unhealthy food, right? Lol How many people seriously research the ingredients list on a product? I think it's mostly just not having the money, the advertising, the lack of knowledge, etc.
I was just reading about the pricing differences of fresh blueberries and processed blueberries. I don't know the chemicals included in processing processed fruits or vegetables, but it said in 2014 that fresh blueberries on average were $1.93 a pound, while processed blueberries were .78c a pound. So you are paying more to be healthier. What kind of crap do they put on them to reduce the price by over $1 a pound? So people think they're probably eating healthy, but it probably isn't really.
