When folks say "I can't eat vegan because..." or "I couldn't go vegan because..." it's almost like hearing Charlie Brown's teacher.
Ultimately, I just say, going vegan is not for anyone unwilling or not wanting to change. Because it then becomes an internal battle of acceptance.
I'm 7 weeks vegan. I wanted to change my lifestyle, so exploring all the vegan choices has been enjoyable. I don't complain at all. I've not had a craving whatsoever for anything otherwise.
**It also helps that my boyfriend is vegan AND a chef.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I grew up vegetarian (My mother was veggie) ;and enormously faddy wouldn't eat anything that wasn't the same texture all the way through and wouldn't eat anything on my plate that had touched anything else on my plate and would stop eating if my older brother pinched something off my plate . Then I was vegan for many years and then coming up to seventy decided to start to eat white fish fillets because my joints were going - I am less faddy these days. Sometimes I go along with the idea that its all about control. I make rules about eating - I' not skinny - look well fed enough but I guess food is one of the things you can play about with and have likings and antipathies about without upsetting anyone else. Yes my partner is mostly vegan -
