Yes, it's true. There's a lot more to the story, though. And it was a pleasant journey.
Welcome to another episode of Florida Man!

There is something about Florida

For sure. How many weird headlines have you seen that start with "Florida man..."
I'm glad I found this site. It keeps me from being lonely sometimes.

I can relate to your remark; but the members are nearly all Americans. I'm an Australian who feels most of you are so insular and have little interest in the rest of the world. So, I don't get much comfort from the site unfortunatley. There IS cultural difference.
Tomfoolery33 replies on May 13, 2018:
@VLove Neither does mine.
Warning!
RobWard comments on May 13, 2018:
Darn printers mistake. It was supposed to say "He'll await you" and then list my address. I'm just trying to meet people.

I can math.

That's $1.83 a day....so, technically, if 183 people are participating....and each puts in one penny a day, then at the end of the year there will be $667.95 in the jar. #fact

Let's make an afternoon of it, I mean, they've got food, too! LOL Gotta love that juxtapositioning, tho!

When we lived in L.A., there was a strip joint by the airport that served lunch. I used to go there occasionally with some of the guys for lunch, just for a laugh. It was weird eating and watching a strip show.
Well, your honor, how's this for a plea?

I know. I read about it somewhere. She was trying to show the judge that her underwear covered her fully.

You sound like an interesting person from your Introduction. Are you lonely because you live somewhere where there aren't many like you, or are you a loner by choice? This is a good site for lonely people as there is usually someone on the same wavelength to chat to..
Tomfoolery33 replies on May 13, 2018:
@CeliaVL Sad but true. But I grew up in a family where the grandparents were involved in family life till the end. One of my grandmothers lived with us when I was growing up, and the whole family got together at my other grandparents' house every Sunday afternoon and on holidays.
