Is there anyone here who isn't "into weed?"
I'm not into it at all..... it's been decades.
This is for me a completely different question than whether I think it's ok for people to smoke it. Smoke away. I think it has been scandalous and evil what has been done in the name of anti-marijuana laws. However, as to my own preferences, I don't partake.
I wish I had some, but cannot afford it. It's weed or insulin.
You have a medical reason.
@tucsonkosmicgirl indeed.
I drink hemp milk. But marijuana gives me a major headache. I have to avoid it entirely.
Lay back, smoke a bowl of indica and think about what all the good god has done for the earth or mankind. Good luck!
It never interested me. Nowadays I hear a lot of people singing the praises of its medicinal value, and realize that it is helpful to treat many conditions. Even so, if someone said, "Here, try some," I'd decline because of past experience with certain pharmaceuticals and the X factor (as in who knows what effect this is going to have?)
People who don't have an open mind about weed are a turn off
You missed my point.
Your pain is felt by many of us. We live in a world dominated by artifice; a perceived need for which is created from within by altering brain functions with substitutional substances and behaviors.
'Weed' seems to be one of the most popular.
Religion qualifies too, as do porn, gambling and political ideological activism; when and if they become addictive and take-over in place of unavailable, genuine things that nourish and satisfy natural, primary drives.
Some atheists remind me of reformed alcoholics who rejected liquid spirits and replaced them with increased use of tobacco or weed; of those who reject tobacco only to start eating twice as much and becoming over-weight, etc.
People not into weed are hard to find alright. Try finding people avoiding rather than clinging to artifice to satisfy secondary drives and it gets a lot harder. There are more daunting tasks though.
Just be glad we aren't cartoons. Being Wile E.Coyote or Elmer Fudd would be a lot tougher.
