You would think by now I'd know which posts on Twitter to walk away from so I don't see stupid shit like this....

When you end the life of a pre-born child, while God is knitting it together, you're telling Him He doesn't know what He's doing. That He is making a mistake. If that's true, then how could He be God? God doesn't make mistakes; we do. Love God and the innocent: Repent.✌️

Yea, God prefers people to be born so that he can torture them consciously during a lifetime. Makes sense doesn't it?

Actually, God doesn't knit. You're thinking about the Fates... And they are nasty with those scissors.

But I usually respond: "God is the greatest abortionist of all time. He kills more 'unborn' babies than abortion does. According to the CDC, in the United States alone, 24 thousand babies die before birth. And the same number of babies die during their first year. So how about this… When God stops aborting children, then we will.

Ooohh! I like that!

So sad when you invent a god that you use for your own convenience without taking in all the ramifications of what you say you believe. If you truly believe this crap, that your god is all powerful, then you have to hold it responsible for every tortured child, every pedophile, every disease that those children will suffer (we won't even talk about the adults). You are worshiping the most evil bastard to never exist. Thanks, I'll pass myself. Mankind is by it's nature no prize, giving birth to a child who will become a burden not just on your the life of the mother, but others, just for the sake of some other person's belief is not at all what being a human is about. Animals give birth because they have no means of controlling it, and when they overpopulate, disease and natural selection take over the task of thinning the population (though hunting, killing gods creatures, is quite permissible for most christians, even the pacifists). Take your religion out of my laws!

One of the many reasons I don't do Twitter. Too many twits.

@Crimson67 That is so true.

Abortion is a really tough one. I certainly want to respect the wishes of women vis a vis their own bodies, but at the same time the sanctity of life must be considered. Not having a particularly cheery after-life prospectus makes this troublesome for the secular. For us the sanctity of what life we have should be even more important. I tend to follow a Buddhist leaning here and favor harming no other.

Sometimes allowing someone to be born is the worst thing you could do to that person. Think; poverty, no proper parental care, hunger, maiming diseases, birth defects , pedophile-rs, rapists, etc. Sometimes a life of prison, bed bound , institutional life, drugs and a whole lot more.

@buzz13 so now we're deciding how good someone's life must potentially be before we let them live? come on

@kauva Yes.
