I guess I screwed up on Agnostic. Not sure what it is that I am doing to myself. Still trying to get over a relationship. Six months in. Trusting is a very big problem with me.
The person who I was talking to on Agnostic was very nice, and very supportive. But, they live so far away, and I do not think that I would relocate. Have done that before and lost everything, not insinuating that is what was going to happen. Not sure what else would come of us talking.

I know what you mean. I moved 800 miles to be with someone I met online (not here) an within a month I lost her, my car, my home, and was left with nothing.

My focus is a lttle different. If I can have a good relationship with someone on line that is a good thing in itself. Having lived where I am for 12 years I recognize the odds of meeting someone here is low. I doubt I would move but I still have that connection

Hi, Dreamer,

You're right; it's NEVER a good idea for a woman to move somewhere to be with a man, or to be the one doing the changing and pursuing. If things don't work out, she could find herself homeless, or at his financial mercy.

If a prey animal runs toward a predator, that predator will run, because it knows something is wrong with the prey.
Even when it looks like women who pursue men have been successful, since most men will take free sex when offered, later on, the men are likely to leave to pursue more interesting, independent women.

By the way, you earn website points, and help other members get to know you better, when you write an informational profile that includes your hobbies and interests, and answer all the profile questions, since that's the first place many people look when they see a new member.

Also, the website uses your profile to find member matches, so the more details you include, the better the match.

Then you make comments and write your own posts to earn more points and privileges; for instance, at level two you can private email people. You get different perks with each level, and when you reach level eight you get an agnostic T-shirt.

To find members near you, click on the "Meet" button at the top of the page, then on "Members," and enter your preferred search parameters.
Or click on the "About" button at the top of the page to find links to FAQ or the website tutorial.

FWIW, it's not necessary that you pursue a romantic relationship with everyone. It's okay to be "just" friends. A friend is not a small thing to have in your life.

That's a problem I have. The people that are interesting to me on here are all so far away. Talking can be fun, though.
