Religion has contaminated sex.
Even though we are all products of sex, sex is now 'dirty'. People talk about having 'dirty' sex or 'dirty' fantasies etc. Women are 'dirty'.. The whole thing is dysfunctional.
How about we prise this part of humanity out of religion's spiteful hands and take it back.
I propose we start this reclamation and subverting this theist borne toxic meme by replacing the word 'dirty' with 'earthy'.
Let sex be earthy. Let men and women be earthy. Let's celebrate natural, feel-good earthy sex.

I knew early on the church was full of fruitcakes, when they started preaching that sex was wicked and evil. The writing was on the wall, I wanted no part of a believe system that was anti sex, hellooo....
Which I always found odd considering, in most cases, in the same breath they tell us to be fruitful and multiply.

Yes, and religion has contaminated every other part of our culture. We need to recognize that the norms in the West have a religious root which needs to be sorted out.

Sex (among other things) is part of 'Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness".
These are basic values common to all, recognizing that they also are derived from religion hopefully can help us sort out what is properly secular and help us realize that sex is a natural human function and not a dirty habit.
It might stop us from trying to justify children being ripped from their mother's breast by use of biblical verse.

To be a downer, the are diseases that come only from sex. That might explain it.
This is a tricky one because the very "dirtiness" is part of the appeal for some ... doing stuff that's forbidden or shocking can (when voluntary of course) be part of the fun.
