Life has been absolutely insane over the past few months. I’m dealing with a third - and possibly fourth - cancer diagnosis in less than 10 years. It surely goes without saying that I’ve been at my lowest.

But, today, something weird happened. It’s like a switch was flipped and the Universe smacked the crap out of me and I finally woke up. I don’t know how else to describe it. I have a little bit of hope again.

Damn cancer. Pulling for everyone dealing with this lousy disease.

Well - In the past 10 days I've been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer - will be treated with chemo and radiation therapy.. Maybe the cure will be worse than the disease

I'm sorry to hear...sending good vibes your way!

Be sure that you do not eat anything from cows milk. The casein protein is the favorite nutrient for cancer. Eliminate all animal protein is good for treatment too. Plant protein does not support cancer growth & creating an alkaline environment is good too.

❤️

This is something else to consider trying. [naturalsociety.com]

My girlfriend and I have been together only a short time. We fell in love hard and fast. She just turned 38 in May. She has been in remission for about 11 years after surviving stage IV breast cancer. I would use the word miraculously, but I define miracles as events that happen that are impossible given the known laws of nature. It was highly unlikely. The five year survival rate was less than 1%. She's still here, though. Now she's been admitted to Man's Greatest Hospital (the term we locals use for Massachusetts General Hospital, disparagingly, of course) twice in the past two weeks for abnormal blood counts requiring transfusions. We both work in the medical field, so we're painfully aware of the likely cause, just waiting for the follow up appointment to give us the official diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options. We were moving forward at 100 MPH and hit a wall at that speed. Now we're just waiting for the answers and hopefully our switch flip moment. I wish you all the best with what you're going through. I hope you have supports around you. My girlfriend has never had supports when dealing with this in the past, she's always had to go it alone. I'm trying to position myself to be her primary support while recruiting others to both help her and help me if things take a turn for the worst. Never lose hope. It's always there, even if it's difficult to find.

She is very lucky to have you as her person. Sending positive vibes and hope to both of you...

What does one say that is adequate at a time like this. Be strong and hang in. If the switch flipped run with it for all its worth. People are here if you need to rant. Keep us all appraised as you go along.

Cancer cannot live in an alkaline environment. Change to alkaline diet..no carbs or sugar..2 tbls.cider vinegar to a glass of clean water several times per day. Long walks for oxygen..youll see-!!!

@rsabbatini I can say what I choose. Its not your place to add rude comments to my opinion/fact. Everyone has cancer running through their bodies. It thrives on sugar.Thats a fact.

how can cider vinegar be part of an Alkaline diet? please explain...

@Lukian I work 3 jobs and driving. look that up..Lemon juice as well

@J-MaisOui you seemed an expert in the subject, I'd like you to explain it to me. Same thing with lemon juice (an acid), how can that be part of an alkaline diet?

@J-MaisOui cancer thriving on sugar is NOT a fact.

@J-MaisOui technically everything in the human body "thrives" on sugar. Glucose is in fact the only thing that the mitochondria in our cells burn, so I am afraid cutting out sugar will not work. Please keep in mind that "Cancer" is a name we give to human cells (cells that make up your body) that are going berserk. This is why our immune system can't kill it, and why killing it (at least for now) usually involves killing healthy cells as well. We are making a lot of progress in targeting the cancer cells, but we have not found a silver bullet. While this diet may not cause any harm, it will not help. Also please note that your body is very good at regulating the pH of your blood. The pH will not change just because you ate a lemon.

@RavenMunnin Although i appreciate your input,...garbage diets like dead, rotting animals filled with hormones and antibiotics, ..processed foods, chemicals at every turn like lotions, makeup, super glue and acrylic coursing through veins from fake nails, hairdyes, prescription drugs and on and on are all things that I avoid and too bad others don't at least try to as well, instead of listening to the experts.

@J-MaisOui eating well is obviously helpful. The rest of the bs about Alkaline/Sugar etc is bs.

I'm currently taking cannabis oil to treat cancer. I have only been able to obtain small amounts..a tiny fraction of what is recommended, but the cancer is still shrinking.
