Our early mammalian ancestors walked on four legs, and the transition to upright posture imposed some radical bends in the spinal column. Our adaptive history set us up for slipped discs, compression fractures, and pinched nerves. The human spine is certainly NOT a structure that any intelligent designer would send on to the factory floor for mass production, lol. ?

Reminds me of the story of the farmer showing the preacher around his newly purchased and cultivated farm. The preacher kept saying, "what an amazing job you and the lord have done to this property".
