Antifa does remind me of the NAZI brownshirts, and the left-wing MSM resembles the Völkischer Beobachter, but the analogies are somewhat imperfect.

@Faithless1 That's your opinion. My opinion is they are more accurate than not.

As a cultural Jew I have felt this for some time. Herr Trump is in the White House along with Nazi Stephen Miller and other Storm Troopers. Pence is quick to say "Yes my Fuhrer."

The problem is that like those who supported Hitler, Trump supporters don't really care about what he does right or wrong they support him. They just see actions being taken, and they really don't think through if the actions taken will actually make any real difference in terms of the solving the problems that concern them.

I doubt that most Germans really took the Nazis seriously until they themselves were being stopped in the streets to have their papers checked, the rights and freedoms curtailed and their door kicked in by Brownshirts. When it's the other guy getting the short end of the stick it someone how seems less real but when it comes home to roost then it is usually far too late.

Yeah, I thought comparisons to the Nazis were overboard for a long time. I'm starting to worry that things could get a lot darker in the next decade.
