I have travelled into the interior of the mighty USA (according to President Trump and Republicans ). I have visited cities like Los Angeles, St.Monica, Detroit, East Lansing, Seattle, Philadelphia , New York, Washington DC, Boise, St.Helens, Shelton, Madison, Minneapolis, Eugene, Portland, Salem, Olympia. Denver and many other tiny cities. I have also visited Paris France, and Antwep, Brussels in Belgium, South Africa, UAE, India and many other African countries. I see one general trait where I believe European culture outshines the USA, a strife for quality and this explains the reason why many European products find their way around the globe (Belgian beer, French cheese, Italian pasta ,spanish olive oil, etc, all these can be found even in shithole British colonies like Uganda), where American products are generally low quality and are not common outside of the USA and when you find one product,it's extremely tagged to Hollywood hysteria--I mean,it's price is sky rocketing. Try to find Bud Light in India or UAE. Good luck. Or Pepper jack cheese, American cars etc. And no, that's not due to trade limitations as Trump is claiming.

Then there's also severe poverty among the population, and this is not for blacks or Latinos only, its across the spectrum. The funny part is, many American political actors invalidates this reality instead they boast " America is the greatest Nation on Earth, "God Bless America", "We are the most powerful Nation on Earth" and I tell you the truth, nothing wrecks down my heart than seeing fellow human beings living like garbage in the most civilised country on Earth. I am bleeding for Americans too, because they have all the money but the number of people suffering like Africans, is simply rising.

Millions of Americans are forced into an inferior lifestyle, without decent access to housing, medical care, pensions etc. Many elders are still employed in physically demanding jobs, wrecking their bodies.I think you have read the UN report on poverty in USA. It's not my nature to poke my nose anywhere I traveled but since it took me fifteen years to secure a visa to come to US, and all the times I was denied the visa, the answer was that I do not meet the high quality standards of Americans, therefore, I am not welcome. I have all rights to share with you what I see with my eyes, not what I read in media or watch on TV. Therefore,it's up to us, traveled Africans to help our fellow Africans know that the grass isn't that green on the other side of the hill. Let's fix our countries. Let's NOT shield bad governance systems that have kept our dreams and aspirations grounded. Now promise me that you will do your part to make Africa better.

Many Americans don't know much about the rest of the world or their countries real relationship with the rest of the world. Possibly because many Americans rarely travel more than a few hundred miles so they know only a limited reality and much of that is the propaganda they get from the news. Change will come from the rest of the world and will be forced upon the US but not the other way around because the people who control the US, own it for all intents and purposes do not want change.

May be this will be the way...

Right on. Anytime I hear someone say this is the "greatest country", I know they haven't ventured far from mommy's basement.
