I remember an earlier post where we were asked what our favorite remake or song-cover was. While I have a lot of favorites, I have to say, this is one is way up on my list. It's so damn creative.
Sweet Child O' Mine by: Postmodern Jukebox featuring Miche Braden
One of my favorite remakes.
Wow. These kids are brilliant.
The Jimi Hendrix Experience - All Along The Watchtower, Bob Dylan
Every time I hear this song, I think of the other Watchtower. As you're crossing the Brooklyn Bridge from Lower Manhattan into Brooklyn, on the right-hand side of the bridge (on the Brooklyn side) is a giant Jehovah's Witness building called... the Watchtower. I don't have actual data, but I'm guessing it's one of the biggest building in Brooklyn.
That's a damn good question! I usually only like a remake if I don't like the original. I'll have to get back to you on that...
I used to love Metalica, until Lars Ulrich tried to kill digital music. I haven't been able to listen to them much anymore.
@Benthoven Tthe las GREAT album they had was "...And justice For All". The band died when Cliff did. There is Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax members that did that. When I saw them at the Big Four, they were the last to play. I didin't even bother to standand watch until that song played. Diamond Head is such an underrated band! But yeah, Lars is a whiny crybaby bitch! They are probably the richest band in the world, and they whined about downloading music.
This is soooo much better than the original...nice post!
Almost any cover would be better than the original. lol
