First, I would hire a marketing consultant to come up with a name that was easy to remember and could be trademarked. I would also bribe Donald Trump so I could get a Chinese trademark as well. This would be very important because I would want to build out a huge retail channel (t-shirts, coffee cups, womens apparel etc.). I would then hire a team of writers to craft a story where I (or my designee) had a direct line to the diety. This would be vital because I would have another line of business where people paid me for advice, or putting in a good word for them. Although my initial target market would be the US, I would want the story and character to be something that could be marketed around the Globe. This would be very important, because after my company went public, the stock market would demand earnings growth.
