I'm not sure how many people are football fans but I have been a fan of the Steelers since I was a kid. I was around to see the Steelers go from the worst team, to go to becoming a dynasty,And I've have the privelage of seeing some of the best players go into the hall of fame. Way too many great ones.
One could go on and about Brady, and to be honest, Yes he is a future hall of famer, but the legacy of what the Steelers have a longer history of buildind build some of the best Hall of famers ever. I have the utmost respect for the Patriots, But I have to give the Steelers. They have more divisional battles for instance The rively
between the Steelers and the Ravens is easilly the most heatest smash mouth football games ever.
My favorite thing about the riverly is knowing how much respect they have towards each other. whitch always make for a most brutal face offs in the game.
They play each each other like it is the Super Bowl. Best games ever.
did you know that some people don't give a shit about football, soccer, hokey, tennis, cricket , rugby, baseball, or any other moronic sport you care to mention,
Honestly, I could give a rats ass to what others feel about sports. And to be honest, your comment comes off as rather rude.
Hmm..I quit watching the Patriots when Tom Brady choked during the Super Bowl after a perfect 2008 season.
Turns out, the Giants figured out Brady's calls so were able to keep sacking him.
But when it came out what the constant concussions were doing to the football players..insanity, suicide, early death, brain damage, I wouldn't watch American football on principle.
Still, I'm a hypocrite, since I'm following the World Cup in Moscow, despite studies showing that the soccer football "headers" do as much brain damage as the NFL concussions.
My family has been Packers fans back to when Grandpa watch Lombardi play in Green Bay at the stadium.
But I'm chagrined and I've had about enough of the NFL. Brain injuries, hyper-commercialism, and how is the NFL a non-profit organization? It makes no sense and it smacks of greed.
Football doesn't build character, it reveals it. (citation needed).
I think I prefer high school ball now. Back to the basics. Just my .02¢
Even though I am still A Steelers fan, I do have to agree with you. The knitting group that has become the norm on the NFL Is really not what football has been in the past. I do love a great touch down. but I really have to admit that I love how it usred to be when hitting hard really mean't something People like Jack tatem, orDick Butkis, or Jack lambert really changed the way the sport. Which is sad because as great as they were, the nfl wold never let them play. I truelly miss gold smash mouth foot ball.
