The wife and i were outside yesterday and she told me its so hot outside. (Yeah ... it was warm but i judged heat by how much i sweat back when i was working). I said its only 95... thats not that bad. She looked hard at me and said she didnt know how i could work outside all day long. I just smiled. A mans got to do what a mans got to do. Theres no free rides.

You are one tough hombre'....
I just came in from all of 1.5 hours walking a mower around the yard and I'm thinking of dialing 911.

Being outside and working outside ( like pushing a mower)... big difference.... oh yeah... ild be burnt out too pushing a mower.

I feel for those who brave the weather to do their jobs. Heat and cold can make working outside hell. I have been there and always appreciated that I worked in an office where I controlled the temp. I also admire those who do the repetitive jobs. When i was in high school we went on a field trip to a Firestone factory where I witnessed a man placing tire beads on a machine. He did 100 per hour for eight hours a day. I asked him how long he had been doing this job and he replied 35 years. I immediately said to myself you are going to college. That led to a family argument because my dad could make me a job at the factory he worked at. I won

It takes 3 to 5 years for a mechanical engineer to establish themself in my old world. And make my pay too. Ive seen college teachers quit their jobs to work in the chemical plants... i know one thing for sure. They are even asking for associate degrees for the blue collar workers. There's no high school drop outs working where i worked.

My husband decided that on the hottest day we have had, with the temperature outside showing 102 degrees, to go onto the roof and trim one of our trees. I heard loud banging and thought he had fallen off or something, ran outside, and there he was, sweating, cursing, etc. and wanting me to throw up a bottle of water and a towel. I did after calling him a few names that rhyme with idiot and moron. It is hot...be safe, not stupid...heat can kill! lol

Oh yeah...it can.

Bob, women are delicate fragile flowers that need care. Men are the big guys who sweat it out for us LOL

She lets the dogs out to potty. They run to the door to come back in when they're done. Now thats living.... staying in a cool house all the time... begging for a treat... eating and sleeping all day.... getting fat .... hell! That describes me!??

That is the good life> It is ashame that you must go outside to potty.

@Marine hell... i do it all the time. Confuses the dogs..

@BucketlistBob nice
