I wouldn't call myself a massive fan, but Appetite for Destruction was the second CD I ever bought, and I still play it quite regularly now.

I don't consider myself "old", but I loved G N R back in the day. I saw them open up for Aerosmith in the last 80s.

Not much of a musical fan but...Slash is a really nice man and a good father. I've met them all at the zoo, where Slash is a donor/supporter. Turns out he LOVES snakes and gave us quite a few when his wife was in her second trimester and SOMEONE made the decision to ''downsize'' a SIXTY snake collection. (That is a LOT of snakes to buy/house/feed/care for.) He told me how thrilled he was to be ''working'' with Betty White at our zoo, because he was a ''latch key'' kid and used to watch "Golden Girls" every day. He treats her like fragile glass....it's sweet to see them making ads together. So--even though I'd rather listen to Vivaldi or Mozart..I've managed to enjoy some of his work.
