Heard about this on NPR.

They think they will give the boys a quick intro to scuba diving, so they can swim out. Otherwise ti will take a couple of months for the water levels to go down.

Cool... lessons learned.... always check the weather.

That's one of them. Bad soccer coach, but good as well. I'm sure he is why/how they survived.

They're not out yet though.

Now they have to figure out to get them out of the cave before the rains return and possibly destroy their remaining air pocket.

What I saw tonight on BBC news here in Thailand, is that they are planning to teach the boys to use the scuba gear, even though none of them can even swim.

I heard that option. Shouldn't be that difficult teaching them to use scuba gear. They probably don't need to know how to swim. They'll tie ropes to them. These guys are SEALS. I'm sure they'll be successful.

They are also checking for other entrances.

Reminds me somewhat of the Chilean miners' rescue.
