It's a mini heatwave in the UK right now. It's not as hot as other countries, but the contrast in temperature following a long winter has caught many off guard. We're not used to it.

This combined with high humidity has made me as irritable as fuck today! Every little thing is getting on my nerves. I've not slept properly and I'm tired.

Does anyone else become irritable when it's hot?

It's all in your head Trump says that there's no such thing as human-induced global warming

It's been pretty crazy working in peoples garages in this heat. They weren't lying when they said heat rises. Been going through a lot of water and Gatorade.

It’s hot here for almost half the year. It makes me feel more lethargic than irritable.

Agreed (you ain't seen nothin yet)

Not irritable but I do slow down, and as I live in Australia we do get very hot summers. Humidity sucks life out of you so you do not feel like doing anything, so slow down, only do what you have to.

Yes, I think Al Gore does. Watch out for the sky to fall. 🙂

I've a FB friend from a group there, who's doing Scotland, remarking on the heat with his wife, they are from Southern California and seem unaffected, while the locals are wilting from the unusual heat wave.

Just returned from Scotland myself and the heat was comparable enough to my tropical home summers.

Yes. Parts of Scotland last week experienced the highest temperatures since records began.

@Ellatynemouth Natural cycles the world goes through? I believe the Volcano's put out more gasses than mankind ever could. It's been theorized, the World is ramping up for another die off of the civilizations here now,Ice age, heat? Who knows.

I love the desert heat. It's crispy, not oppressive. It's deceptive though. The mornings are cool. People from back east or Europe go on a morning hike not prepared for how quickly it turns hot. Sometimes death ensues.

I stay in air conditioning for the most part.. I also hate hot weather..
Iceland is sounding better all the time. 🙂

Not irritable, but it does suck the energy out of me. If the heat made me irritable, as long and as hot as the summers are in Texas l would probably become a serial killer, or at least really annoying.

Nope I love it . Probably because I'm sure I suffer from seasonal thingy disorder .....translated I get happy in the summer miserable in the winter !!!

It is called SAD - Seasonal Affective Disorder. I suffer from it too and I hate it.

@patchoullijulie I understand there are special lights that simulate the Sunshine,You might see about those.

@Louise1920 Right, but just knowing that this was an actual 'condition' really helped me to manage my psyche. It took me a while to realize that it was weather related. Now I can manage it with other tools but I know that if I was to move to a place like Seattle or Portland (both places I would love to visit by the way) I would probably have to use the light therapy you suggested. 😀

Yeah, lots of people get irritated or ornery when its hot out. More fights breakout, some types of crime go up.
