Of course...and it should! We should always be looking at the available evidence in support of or opposition to our beliefs, so they can remain those most likely to be true.

Now, I've never seen any evidence that even comes close to suggesting that gods, spirits, souls, ghosts, etc. are real, so I don't believe in them. But I'm open to evidence--real, documented, tested scientific evidence--if it comes along!

Sure it has crossed my mind. That is why I am Agnostic!

Not really... Which is actually fairly odd for me, given over as I am to analysis-paralysis. I was far more doubtful when I was trying to believe this or that. That's when I felt like I was suspended at a great height by a net of unknown provenance. Now I feel like I'm standing on the ground: I have zero fear of falling.

Bah Humbug!

If there is a god, there are several thousand to choose from. Best you know for a fact that you pick the right one, otherwise you will never obtain forgiveness. [godchecker.com]

What if I am wrong about what? How could any religion be true when there are so many of them? For it to be true it would mean that only YOU had the right religion. Does that seem logical or even likely? I studied for the ministry and today my belief in gods is about the same as the Easter Bunny. For those who want to scare me with hellfire, please understand that when I die I am going to be cremated. Gods are imaginary.

It doesn't matter whether we are right or wrong.

Sure, & one can get all "Pascal's Wager" here, but I have to go with my reason (tho most religions frown on that!). Show me any proof for a creator god, & I may then "believe", but as to worship it will take even more than that. I'm a proud Yank, bending the knee does not come naturally! Up to this point I have seen no credible evidence for a god, specious locic tricks used by apologists notwithstanding. Wishful thinking is no way to go through life, in my opinion.

OK, I'm wrong. A jealous tribal god did create 2 people and put them in a garden, and there was a talking snake.
If we tickle, tease, and please this god enough he willl let us live with him in the sky. We can sing his praises forever and forever. That would get old fast.
Now if you mean some other god besides the ones in sacred writings it would not matter anyway. That's because this last god gave us no instructions of any kind.

I have been and will continue to be wrong about a great many things 🙂

Has it ever crossed your mind that if there is an afterlife it's not the one you've been indoctrinated?

If we're wrong, then god has some splainin' to do as to why he hasn't made himself known to the rank and file. Moreover, he better 'splain why he allows so much suffering in his name.

I want my Tombstone to read.." if there is a god I'll be back"

I believe in Eric, so I can't be wrong.

I like the Eric bit. I get bored with the proof arguments, but at least Eric has a cute smile.
