Do you like figuring out or assembling something without the instructions?

I do! It is like a big puzzle and I love puzzles. I do need a picture, though ..

I 2nd that. When I fixed my Honda's exhaust system. I looked for clear detailed exploded view photos to find the exact parts I needed. Exhaust shop quoted me $3200 to fix it. I fixed myself for less than $100, for the cost of the parts. I even found my parts cheaper on the web.
I always try to fix things myself first. That's what grandfather always did and would tell people. Wise!

Not unless I'm reverse engineering it.

I do most of the time, because the instructions are written in such small print they are of little or no use.

Sometimes. Depends on what it is.

No! I gave that up decades ago.

Yes,seems most times it's every language but English, badly drawn sketches, impossible to fit pieces unless you have a drawer full of files, sandpaper and big hammers.

That's one reason I just do it without 'instructions'

This brings out the OCD in me. If i havent done it exactly to the instructions the sky might fall down or something!

Some times I use the French instructions. Not that I can read French mind you.

Haha!
