While trying to meet women my brother said I need to change to have success. I said, not going to happen. And I still was able to meet an amazing women. Go figure.

You didn't post a photo or write a profile so I don't see what women could use to evaluate you as a dating prospect. I usually block men who don't don't give information on themselves..they could be anyone.

When meeting people I often try to cautiously establish a rapport first so when controversial topics come up they might know more context of my position.

Sometimes I just charge straight into hot button issues so fragile shallow people get triggered and show themselves.

I guess it depends if I am in the mood for an argument. I am all for living authentically. I don’t think proceeding tactfully at times is a betrayal of that ideal.
