@Captain_Feelgood That was pretty slick and dishonest; you deleting your previous comment to which I responded with the the following links and then you reposting it. Anyway, here it is again.

"Russian authorities yesterday named several Americans who they want to question whom they claim were involved in quote-unquote crimes in their terms, including former Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul. Does President Trump support that idea? Is he open to having U.S. officials questioned by Russia?" New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman asked Sanders.

Sanders replied that an announcement would be forthcoming on the Russian proposal after Mr. Trump discussed it "his team."

"The president's going to meet with his team and we'll let you know when we have an announcement on that," Sanders said. When pressed on whether Putin had raised the idea with Mr. Trump, Sanders said that there was "some conversation about it," but that there "wasn't a commitment made on behalf of the United States."

And you are smoking crack again @AlPastor... that was a different post by ms. countrywoman,,, apparently she liked the concept so much she posted a new one, but just a little different.. and it's still up there plain as day... [agnostic.com]

And so others don't have to waste time going there, here's my reply to you and the other lady on the subject... ''''@AlPastor, @kozmic Important note here folks .The resolution was proposed by Democratic Sens. Chuck Schumer, Bob Menendez, Dick Durbin, and Brian Schatz. Trump never said any sort of trade off was or wasn't up for consideration... he merely said long after the interview that Putin's offer was ''incredible''... l suggest you read the transcript of the interview. [vox.com] As it turns out, there has been a treaty between the two countries sense 1999 [congress.gov] that one country can ask to question people suspected of crimes in their country, and if both countries agree, they can extradite them for punishment. Putin said it's a two sided street, they can ask us, and we can ask them.. It just so happens Putin brought up wanting to talk to a Mr. Browder for tax evasion including him and a business associate. Here is what Putin said; ''For instance, we can bring up Mr. Browder in this particular case. Business associates of Mr. Browder have earned over $1.5 billion in Russia. They never paid any taxes. Neither in Russia nor in the United States. Yet, the money escapes the country. They were transferred to the United States. They sent huge amount of money, $400 million as a contribution to the campaign of Hillary Clinton. Well, that’s their personal case. It might have been legal, the contribution itself. But the way the money was earned was illegal. We have solid reason to believe that some intelligence officers, guided these transactions. So we have an interest of questioning them. That could be a first step. We can extend also it. Options abound. They all can be found in an appropriate legal framework.'''' Sooooo,, the plot thickens. l can see why the liberals are all up in arms about something like this happening. Now please explain how this could be considered some sort of a betrayal to the oath of office when he never said yes or no to something that is completely legal, and a part of a treaty agreed to by Congress?

Let me know if you want to accuse me of being dishonest again... and we'll talk about it..
Tootles.. 🙂

@Captain_Feelgood I did not notice the double post on the subject. My response to the other thread did not, and still does not show up in my comments history for me. I can only get to it by the link your provided in this thread. Interestingly, my response here does show in my history.

Thank you for providing the link to the other conversation and I offer my sincere apologies for accusing you of dishonesty and deleting your post claiming "Trump never said it was even up for consideration."

The resolution was proposed by Democratic Sens. Chuck Schumer, Bob Menendez, Dick Durbin, and Brian Schatz. Trump never said it was even up for consideration... he merely said Putin's offer was ''incredible''... How the liberals out there can turn that into ''Trump wanted to trade off people with Putin so the Senate had to step in and stop it'' is down right comical..

Dear friend,
A stitch in time saves nine.
Prevention/ vaccination against what he might do or cause
Giving up our American ambassadors to an adversary for "interrogation" is called..........?
It is so clear. Be a conservative, yes. But I know him for years listening to him on the Howard Stern Show. He played both sides your years, I think he has real issues from doing business in Russia since the '80's. They have him by the short hair.

@Countrywoman For crying out loud,, did you even try to read what you typed there before hitting the send button??? That made absolutely no damn sense at all... looks like beerthirty comes early for you on Fridays... l'm actually a little envious about that one..lol But seriously, show me where he ever even suggested that we could possibly send anybody to get interrogated... PLEASE SHOW ME,,, VIDEO, WRITTEN, ANYTHING... , then we'll talk.. otherwise how about you stop trying to spread a bunch of bullshit lies like the rest of the msm...

@Captain_Feelgood Captain. It is all over the news. Come on. Where are you?. The Senate just voted on it.Are you here on Earth? Why would I mislead you? I don't do that. One of my faults is I am honest to a. Look! It is front page. Or was.

@Countrywoman I see what the msm is printing,, and none of it is actually Trump saying he's going to do anything... he never said he wasn't either, but that's not saying that he is... If the msm would just be honest and stop putting words in peoples mouth like this, more moderates and right wingers people would start to trust them a little more..

@Captain_Feelgood He "thought it was a tremendous idea". Ofcourse he reversed what he said as he often does. But the Senate voted just in case. I understand why people do not trust the msm. So I go all over the place to get a sense of what really occurred. I am retired & a news junkie so I have the time & inclination to do so. Not everyone is in my position to do that.

@Countrywoman then by all means... show the link here of him saying this about trading suspects with Putin for interrogation... I'm not saying he didn't,, but l haven't seen it or heard it... and no, you typing it out doesn't count... the huffington post saying it doesn't count... msnbc saying he said it doesn't count... l want to see a video of him saying it.. haaahahahaha....
