Fewer people is the answer, period. Religion is never going away and veganism isn't viable and comes with its own costs just as meat production does.

Yep! A world based on healthy living and compassion, love, and respect for all beings! The world is changing.....over 6% of Americans now identify as vegan or vegetarian. Compassion and kindness will win.

No. Wouldn't fix it. People would still be people, still willing and capable of doing all the nasty, nefarious sh** they do now. Sounds nice, but, no. Sorry.

How's about instead of just going pure vegan we put more stock into synthetically grown meats? It would certainly require significantly less landmass, and practically eliminate methane gas emissions. Not to forget that moral/ethical implications of animal slaughter being gone too.

We'd also have to focus on re-forestation efforts as well in those areas quickly, and prevent a surge of vegan 'focused' (in quotes because corporations would just use that as an excuse to scrounge up land, and you know it) from simply taking the place of ranches to fill the void left behind by people who just want a real damned hamburger for whatever purposes we mere plebeians have no use in knowing.

Yup, those would definitely help a whole heck of a lot. I'm sure most here know how the first relates to solving the world's problems but few would understand how the second solves A LOT of the world's problems.
