NFL players are employees. They are part of a business. Businesses exist to make money. Protesting is hurting the bottom line. Your employer wouldn’t allow you to take an action that ultimately hurt business. If you had a fundamental issue with doing or not doing something required of your job, you would be free to seek employment elsewhere. So are the players.

If we had stayed in the class room instead of protesting the Vietnam war, it would have raged on for a lot longer...peaceful protest is one of the cornerstones of our country. I don't buy into the argument that they are protesting at their job...they are still doing their job as players, but let's face it...the NFL is also entertainment and a public forum...where else can the message be seen by so many with an audience that consists of so many walks of life, including those who might perpetuate the unfair treatment of blacks in our society? They know who they are and they protest the protesters the loudest...

I stand with the players who take a knee, not the traitor and draft dodger idiot in office. Personally, as a military child, I will always stand and bring my hand to my heart for our flag and anthem, but I will support anyone who does not feel the same way due to their own personal values.

I will take a knee.

Bust a Mee-Maw head.

I fucking dare you.

Why? That's what the NFL wants, that's what Trump wants. They want the players not to be seen when they protest. Players have a right to take a knee on the field. There's no law that says you must stand for the national anthem. It would be great if more players, coaches, and even fans started taking a knee at games to protest police brutality towards black people.

To protect my family's income and to not submit to Trump.

I wish every player on every team would take a knee. I'd love to see what the NFL would do.

Piss themselves. But it won't happen, very few of the white players are taking a risk for their brothers.

I would too.

So would I-this POS POTUS using his racism at games.
