Very creative and pretty. If I might ask (without sounding too stupid): what is it?

you may well ask ! Its pretty much a fabric and embroidered doodle, a pentagon in a pentagon - its not in the least bit useful, especially as its large but i loved making it. It is silk painting pentagons and also trying in vain to use up every bit of my embroidery yarn stash and every sequin/bead - I didnt succeed!

@jacpod I think its cool. It was fun to make, I'll bet. I only sew a little bit -- hems, usually, but I appreciate the effort and artist qualities.
