You may not have watched the whole presentation. He spent time in a French jail with no electricity or plumbing then when released was given to Sweden judiciary then released and handed over to the US where he spent 4 of a 12-year term in a federal prison. He was released early if he would work undercover for the FBI. His story is really quite interesting.
