Being atheist is patriotic. In my neighborhood there are 40 times more churches than there are schools. A priest's income is at least three times higher than that of a school teacher's. A priest works only three days a week. The priorities are backward. America needs educated people, so that we can work and compete with other nations.

This sounds just like New Zealand, except teachers get paid more than priests,I do not know howmany hours or days a prist works ,but I see churches on prime real estate and they pay no land rates or taxes as they are classed as a charity I think to themselves.while a house owner and worker pays both, something is very wrong.Maybe I should start my own religionmay be I could call it the evolutionary church and worship the replicating molecule.

That is exactly what went wrong with Pakistan. I talked to a young pakistani, who's father was a school teacher barely surviving, and they have untold Mullahs with plenty of financial scaffolding, usually from Saudi Arabia, ruining the place. Frightful the think the USA is the christian equivalent of that, religion, and bad versions thereof, replacing education. Ewww.

Hi ZebZaman, you are correct and I think the Baptists are the closest to the Fundamentalist Muslims.
