When driving through the country, I can't help but picture how it must have looked eons ago when it was all under water at the bottom of the inland sea. Then I picture the swamp that must've ensued when it receded and then I picture it as unsullied plains as far as the eye can see. Does anyone else do this sort of thing? When I was little my sister and I would entertain each other on car trips coming up with stories about the other people in the cars on the road. I don't remember ever playing that license plate game.

Yup... I do the same thing. Especially when I come across vast stretches of sedimentary rock. What's really weird is when the strata of rock is at a 90 degree angle for the horizontal. Just imagine the uplift required to make that happen. Then think about how thin the Earth's crust is...

Sounds like fun. If I ever did, it was many, many years ago. Imagination has never been in color, which I understand is common with good imagination.

I imagine the majestic forests that covered america before white men came .
I found an arrowhead in my yard when I cleared the trees for my house and everytime I touch it I think about what it was like here when some truly free human left it here and what it might have been like to be him .
I think its my only real connection with a natural human being !

I don't think many people think that way but some of us do and more of us should.

Sounds like you have a great imagination!

By the way, this website has a bit of a learning curve.

For members who are open to dating, certain thumbnails and profiles have a heart symbol on them with a percentage. This identifies which members are open to dating, and the percent shows approximately how compatible others are with them.

You can improve your website score in general by uploading a clear, recent photo of your face, answering all the profile questions and writing a bio, which also earns website points, and helps other members get to know you.

Commenting on posts and writing your own posts earns more points. At level two you can private message people, and at level eight you get an agnostic T-shirt.

If you want to date, the website uses profile algorithms to find member matches, so the more details one includes, the better the match.

Many people prefer to see a written profile talking about interests, hobbies, and backgrounds that can be quickly perused to find others who are compatible with them.

In case you didn't know yet, to find members near you, click on the "Browse" button at the top of the page, then on "Members," and enter your preferred search parameters.
Click on the "Discuss" button, then "Nearby" to find members near you also.
Or click on the "About" button at the top left of the page to find links to FAQ or the website tutorial.
Points are now being given to level 3+ members who chat. You can see chat rooms on the group main page or at [agnostic.com].
