Some people are going to get this and a lot of people won't.
Still funny as hell.

Utterly insignificant planet.

The plans for the off ramp have been on file for centuries, you should have moved.

@Surfpirate One of these has the "Biscuit Story"

Right?

Where he thinks the guy next to him is eating his biscuits and he is getting madder and madder as they trade eating biscuits one by one.

And then he realized that he was eating the other mans biscuits.

That is one of my favorite human stories of how you can go from indignant to mortified in an instant.

@BufftonBeotch I watched the series back in the 70's and to be honest I can't remember the biscuits but I definitely remember that it is important for a hitchhiker to always carry a towel and that when it comes to matters of mice and men, men have nothing to do with anything, and the answer to life the universe and everything is 42.

@Surfpirate I found it. I guess it was a first person account.

I'm almost positive though, that the story I first heard or read was biscuits, as that is what he would have called what we call cookies.

@BufftonBeotch Well that was certainly very civilized of him not to make a fuss over the biscuits but then sharing biscuits over tea is very British. No one in Canada would make much of a fuss about it either come to think of it, so long as it was biscuits which are communal or even Timbits but you wouldn't think of taking a piece out of someone's slice of cake or pie, that would be different and very rude.

Harmless.
