I had a really great first date Saturday night. Like maybe the best first date I've ever had. We are going out again for breakfast on Wednesday morning (I work stupid hours and his job often takes him out of town for work so scheduling dates is a challenge). I really, really like this guy but I have a horrible track record with relationships and I am terrified that I'm going to do something or say something that will make him run screaming in the other direction. I don't want to screw this up but I also don't want to get too emotional attached too soon while not being too aloof so he thinks I'm not interested. This is all so complicated yet it seems so easy and right at the same time...isn't this what fairy godmothers are for? Lol. Wish me luck, ya'll!

Just relax and be yourself because that's who he is going to have to like Anyway if it really is going to work and don't overthink things just live in the moment and enjoy yourself

Amy just be your true self and if its meant to be you'll be fine. Best of luck.

Just be honest and enjoy his company. Dont set the bar overly high (I do not mean don't have expectations and standards) and don't choreograph the date before it happens. That can sometimes assure failure. You create the ideal scenario beforehand, and it doesn't go as visioned you begin to panic. Let it happen and unfold naturally.

It's great 4MY. You've made the first step in just going out initially. Now just sit back and enjoy the journey
Remember it's the journey that is the most important and exciting, not the destination. You go girl.

Good luck, 4! I hope the next date is as good or better than the first.

be yourself, & when you feel anxious or apprehensive, let him know that you are human. that way you can relax which is a better launching pad for fun & laughter & joy than tension. & don't forget to BREATHE 🙂

Congratulations! Did you meet him on this website?

Remember that HE is one who is "lucky" to spend time with you. Acting flustered, needy, clingy, panicky, and as though you're in love with him is the quickest way to make most cis hetero men have second thoughts..maybe even ghost you.

Best to act calm, seem busy and happy with your own life, and just seeing him for fun.

Men want to be the predator and do the chasing, want to feel like they are a winner for getting you.
