What is not known today almost certainly will be in the future.If something exists long enough it is ultimately knowable. For now the best we can do is evaluate evidence and make a conclusion based on that.

However one can commit to dealing in reality as it presents itself, even when it conflicts with what you think you know.

Can't argue with that.

What is harder to understand is the reluctance to present information in a comprehensive way.

A teacher of mine once sent a report home to my father saying 'jacqueline knows far too much about things she shouldn't know about at all at her age , and not enough about what we are trying to teach her!

The more you know the more you understand how much you do not know.

How do people know what they do not know? They simply make it up!

The trouble is, too many people are not aware of their lack of knowledge and act as if they do know everything. That makes them dangerous.

I have already happily admitted here , I don't know everything there is to know about everything there is to know anything about . That's my story and I'm sticking to it !

That's why it's important to question your assumptions and try to disprove all of your believes. Never be content with what you believe and be open to change your mind.
