What’s with the influx of fake accounts on here? I’ve noticed a few. The profile pics of women are usually very attractive and in their 30’s. Their profiles are written badly. With bad spelling and grammar. Don’t fall for these fake profiles.

I've seen a few matching male profiles .Shame they can't get together . Or , who knows they may be working together in the room creating fake bios for scamms .

Scammers everywhere

Same with the male scammers I encountered when I was unattached here. Use lots of small i's, frequently mentions marriage, god, and poor English grammar. Like the regular dating sites they will not talk on the phone, only text and email and many are Nigerian scammers who eventually ask for money. Yes we have them here.

I have not seen much of that here. But I am curious, why would anyone send a stranger money?

Desperate need for sex ......men are stupid

@Simon1 someone who lives far away? LOL. Not very sensible of the male species. Though I guess women might fall for it too.

I met a lady on Plenty of Fish. We are just buddies but have dinner about once a month. She has sent off money three......I repeat......three times to guys who need money to buy a bus ticket to come up and see her. Then the "guy" can't come up and see her. Rinse and repeat 6 month later. They get on there with a simple, hi, how are you, you are pretty.....kind of message. 5 messages in after a day or two, the send me money for the ticket shows up and boom, off she goes sending money. Sometimes a thousand dollars. I have no fricking clue why. She works for $9.00 an hour and barely can make it on her income.

@yamaha45701 that makes me sad. People are so lonely and sad.

@GreatNani you just answered the question there very lonely and desperate doesn't matter about distance

@Simon1 and not thinking clearly for sure!

Yes, I get what you're saying. So far my take on it, they are scammers testing the waters. If we don't engage in any way either they will go away or they will change their tactics. At the end of the day, is the users common sense what should prevail

These "profiles" can be found on many sites and they are generic. Very attractive young women seemingly into older guys. The grammar and spelling are usually terrible. If it looks too good then it is.

I had not noticed that, thanks for information.

Why are you looking at 30 year old women?

How do I know that they are 30 year old women until I click on their profile? You’re totally missing the point of this post.

@balou Your point is unclear...…..it sounds like you are trolling 30 year old women. As an over 50 man, that has an ick factor.

@AzVixen52 are you serious? I’m trying to get the word out about scammers on this site. You don’t know me so don’t judge me.

I assume they are mostly bots programmed to reel us in for scammers to then step in and take advantage of us financially.

That’s my thinking too.

5

Yes and they are god fearing. Seriously?

Yeah, I've seen a few suspect profiles. Don't forget the sentence structure is not at all like English. All mention that they are believers too.

I made a comment on a post that the profile looked like a scammer's would. Five minutes later that member had disappeared.

They will find out that we are not so stupid on here.

I had similar experience and I was puzzled as to why I could’t figure out what happed!

@Freedompath I was interacting with one for a few days before I figured out what was going on. I felt like a fool for allowing myself to be taken in, just for that amount of time. BUT it was a lesson learned.

??

A landslide would be even better...as they say...that would ‘send a message!’
