Neither option is right or wrong. I don't assign moral value to sex. I prefer not to have recreational sex, but I do not think that makes me better morally.

@maturin1919 it's a lot more complicated. Yes sex is for fun, but it's also a sense of connection. Even most men fall into the Trap of having sex with a woman they care about and getting a tad bit upset when she's sexually active with 10 to 15 other men. The problem with totally separating sex with morality is there's a lot of responsibility when it comes to sex. You're not f** yourself you're f** another human being. How you treat that human being says a lot about your morality. However, posts like this do bring out my misanthropic tendencies.

@GreatNani I do. If I meet a man / woman who is nothing more than a user who hurts and lies to others because they like to fuck ,I consider them a immoral piece of shit. I consider Morality In practical terms of how one treats their fellow human being.

@Kojaksmom ok I see the difference. I am thinking more along the lines of two people who communicate what they are looking for. If someone wants sex, but no relationship and another agrees then I see nothing immoral about that. If they are lying about it, or using others than that is different. You can want to have sex with me, casually, and I most probably won't do it. But if I did I would not consider it immoral. Deceit is a different story.

@GreatNani but as you can see, that responsibility is a part of sex. Sex is sex .it's a physiological function between the two sexes. How One conducts their sexual life, in my opinion ,is indeed morality.

@Kojaksmom for me, what is immoral is forcing me into doing something I don't want to do, or lying to get me to do it. As long as we are in agreement and no one is harmed then I am ok.

@maturin1919 lies, deceit, selfishness, apathy, lack of communication ,unintended pregnancies, spread of venereal infections.all of these things are apart of sex. We don't live in a Utopia where everyone is honest ,mature consenting adults who care about the well-being of the person they set out to use for their immediate gratification.

@maturin1919 but my point is they apply to sexual activity, therefore it's unreasonable for someone to say that sex has nothing to do with morality.
