Not everyone gets my humor. I'm aware of that. But, it's just intended to be humor based on a ridiculous cliche'. It's not a statement about what's important in a woman. I'm a far more complex and sensitive human that this little snippet implies.

@Duke i did recognize it as an attempt of humor. i am telling you that because it was sexist, it failed with me. i GET your sense of humor. i did not laugh at this particular manifestation of it. if the humor was based on and LAUGHED AT a ridiculous cliché it would be funny. instead, it was just an example of it. i take your word for it you are more complex and sensitive than the snippet implied and am glad to hear it.

Laugh because her new boyfriend looks like a horse." Would it still be sexist? Or, is it only sexist because it was phrased in the opposite direction?

No. Truthfully, for me it is intelligence. I learned this term on this site, and include myself as a Sapiosexual.

@Duke okay that's weird, i know i've been distracted because my guy is in the hospital, but i could swear i answered this, and said that yes, it would be sexist, or at least wrong, if it were reversed, but not as much, because men are judged less for their looks than women are. but i can't find my comment. pardon me if it's there and i'm missing it. i probably put it better originally too. ah well!
