Get this. I was on other dating sites, but...ugh! One example- a man messaged me. We messaged back and forth for a few minutes. I wanted to be open. I told him if a man is too sweet right away...I'm not likely to stick around. (In my opinion overly sweet and complimentary men are either desperate or weird.)
He told me to go to hell.
I think he could've asked what I meant before just reacting.
Anyway, I don't like it when someone lays out on too thick when they don't even know me.
I once had a man who I met online (but not a dating site) tell me he loved me after one day of flirting. I had to block him and run the other way.
I LOVE YOU! Let's plan a church wedding as soon as possible! PLEASE!!!!
@Sgt_Spanky , that's funny.
That's happened to me, too. Freaks me out. I've also gotten guys acting like they suddenly know all about me and everything we're going to do together like we're in a relationship. Happened a few times. I told them slow down and they got offended and disappeared.
I've found that generally when they start off with the super flattery, they're a scammer. Not only will they use super flattery but they'll also claim to have kids to pull the ol' heart strings.
Cabsmom, I don't know you and we've never met but I consider you to be the most beautiful, vivacious, smart, talented and all around gifted woman who has ever lived. If you ever need blood or a kidney, please don't hesitate to ask in a voice that I'm sure sounds like music.
Can I get you a cup of tea or rub your feet now?
If you do go to hell, I'm sure you'll do it with the grace of a swan.
Great response!!!
That's what the "block" button is for.
The moment someone is rude, crude, or lewd to me or anyone else, I go to their profile and hit the block button..and suddenly there is no more problem.
