Was having a chat with an autistic guy today, although that is largely irrelevant, but he asked if the ability to make fire was the greatest breakthrough/step forward the human species has ever made?
It's not a bad shout as without that no bronze or iron age and no metal, certainly not of quality or quantity, so what are your thoughts?
