I did something really dumb last night, and now I'm paying for it. I wanted to cook something for today. So I had some Wimmers Lil Somokeys, and some Bush's Baked Beans that needed to be used. Hell get the crock pot out and make beenie weenies! The beans were BBQ flavored, and I had some A1 BBQ flavored sauce that needed to be used. Threw that in there as well. Gave it a stir and a little taste test. Everything was fine. Put it on keep warm so all the flavors would absorb. Went to go to sleep and couldn't. I had a stroke of genius! I have some dried onion that would go in there! So I got out of bed and threw in the entire jar of dried onion. Let it simmer for a while. Got back up, and wanted to give it a taste test. I had several big spoon fulls. I then thought to myself, something isn't right. This tastes like garlic! I looked at the empty jar, and sure enough it was garlic. The beans were 22 0z and the smokies were maybe a pound. I put 2.5 OZ of garlic in there!

Moral of the story; been burping all day, stomach has been growling all day, and I can't stop farting! I guarantee my breath smells like garlic (and probably will for a week), and I'm sure with that much, my body was sweating it out making my body smell like garlic. There won't be any vampires around here for a while.

Does anyone have an idea how I can salvage my culinary creation? I hate wasting food. I have a bad habit of making a soup or stew and thinking, maybe this would help. I have it good half way through the process, but I mess it up severely. My neighbor gave me 3 boxes (like 150 in total) of Ramen. I should have just made that for today. But I'd probably mess that up too. I haven't had ramen since college, but I'd add peas and corn to it. Now it's gourmet ramen! I'm scared about what else I'll add to it! From now on I think I need to stick to recipie books.

I'd say you need a wife who can cook, but that wouldn't be PC.

I'd settle for a GF that looks mediocre, and does half the crap 'round here.

@TheGreatShadow cut me off a slice of that

At least your blood pressure will be dropping. Garlic does that. I knew a pilot once who about 2 weeks before his physical started taking a large quantity of garlic and always passed his physical that way.

I was actually thinking about throwing in some sloppy joe mix. Some of the ingredients in the recipe don't sound good. But at this point I don't think my cats would eat it.

Maybe a bunch of cooked rice? That's bland. Or potatoes. I do that & my food gets bigger & bigger & I end up with 2 gallons of the stuff! So it's better to try repairing small batches, & if it works do the rest of it. Good luck!

Believe it or not but I have a lot of uncooked rice, and I was thinking that.

Well, you could add significantly more beans and weenies!

As strong as it is, I'd have to use my bathtub to mix it! I've messed up cooking before, but not this bad!
