THE REAL MEANING OF HELL
Recently I replaced all the faucets in my place because they dated back to 1992 and some dripped and others leaked and made noise as you turned the handles on them. Imagine that you did something like this and got up one morning to discover that you had the old ones back again. Imagine this happening off and on, or you discover that you really did not replace all of them. It's all fine again for a while, then you get up one morning to see this all happening again. Now this would be hell. Real HELL, and a way of torturing you forever. A similar thing could be imagined about cutting your grass and the yard (or parts of it) are really a jungle out there. Or maybe it's a hole in your sock but the feet keep changing for the sock hole.
Similar nightmares to this might be why theists continue to believe in hell. It could happen to any of us.
Theists are indoctrinated when they are naive children and since their peers reinforce those beliefs, they don't bother to examine them.
Most never read the Bible, so know little about their own religion, except to be loyal and vocal.
Hell is the death of your child. I’d trade everything, sacrifice all of existence for him to have his life back. This is hell. I’d love to be trapped in a cycle of faucets being switched out like you speak of instead of this real hell I exist in.
I'm very sorry that you went through this and I know it is very hard to deal with. My own grandson was murdered 2 years ago and nobody wants to prosecute the killer. My daughter has a special hell because of it and we are still involved in proceedings.
@DenoPenno I am sorry to hear, it can only be described as hell
