I have a company come out to stray to keep the bees and spiders at bay. Otherwise my house get webs spun all over that I have to constantly knock down. (And I have hornets, yellow jackets and wasps!) So I am pretty bug free unless I go out hiking.

I heard on the radio yesterday that it is the time of year for the stink bugs to start making their way inside. I don't have much here... But they are think in some other nearby places.

I've long wondered what preys on those nasty things. Nothing seems to want them. In my area there's an invasive variety. I smash them with abandon.

(I actually live in the UK now, where the nastiest bug is the wasp. Lame.)

There's this stuff called cedar cide best yet spray. It's made from West Texas cedar oil. It's safe to be around but kills ticks, mites, and fleas. It also scares spiders and other bugs away. I recommend it highly.

I am pleased that you added the arachnid distinction. My new house is insect/arachnid free thus far.
