The "good old days" since you joined in May 2018? Is it just that you disagree with most of the political commentary being submitted to the site, because most of it is liberal and/or anti-Trump?

so recipes are okay, funny cat videos are okay, memes are okay, even if none of that has to do with religion, but politics is not okay? nope, not buying that. atheists don't want to talk about god or no god all day. atheists have a wide range of interests and i don't see why politics has to be cut out of the loop. don't like politics? don't talk about politics. easy peasy!

Are the political posts spilling out into non-political partitions of the site? I'm aware of groups focused on political discussion, just as well as I'm aware of groups focused on religious discussion.

The way politics is going can & will have a Direct impact on your & my ability to freely discuss religion, and if we are allowed to be freethinkers! Look at pictures of Beirut from the 60's...women in western garb, freely enjoying themselves (youtube). Now, no burka, no more breathing.
Thinking people realize our country and its culture are at a Serious crossroads!
